Reflection

Precalculus is a subject that helped me understand math in a deeper way. At first, I thought it would just be about solving numbers, but I realized it also trains my mind to think step by step. I learned how important the basics are, because without them, it’s hard to solve bigger problems.

Sometimes the lessons were challenging, especially when formulas and graphs were involved, but they taught me to be patient and practice more. I also learned that mistakes are part of learning, and each mistake gives me a chance to understand the topic better. Some topics were difficult, especially when it came to graphs, functions, and formulas, but with practice I started to understand them better. I learned that patience and consistency are very important in solving problems. It also showed me that making mistakes is normal, and those mistakes actually help me improve.

Overall, Precalculus is not just about math, it also teaches discipline, patience, and problem-solving, which I can use in real life. Precalculus did not only train me in numbers, but it also developed my discipline, problem-solving, and logical thinking. I know the lessons I learned here will be helpful not only in future math subjects, but also in real-life situations where I need to think wisely and carefully.

A student's Appeal for Fulfilled Promises

Dear Mr. President,

A president is the head of state and head of government in a republic. The specific powers and responsibilities of an president vary from country to country, depending on the form of internationally. The president is directly elected by the people and serves a single six-years term. They have significant executive powers, including the power to appoint cabinet members, command the armed forces and veto legislation.

Given that President Bongbong Marcos Jr.'s SONA has just concluded, let's remember that he promised to do everything to enforce the laws, a common disaster in the Philippines, intense flooding whenever there's storm we're facing, in this case he promised that every regions in this country must have look forward for the project "Flood Control." Many people judged him immediately and did not believe what he said, because they felt he would not be able to fulfill his promises. In this regard, he was not given a chance to truly show that he could deliver.

As a citizen who yearn for the promises made by a national leader to be fulfilled, we also have the freedom to see for the processes involved in achieving those promises, whether they are actually being fulfilled or simply vanishing like bubbles. We repeatedly where these promises are needed. And as a student who is being told that do not have the right to speak, from this statement I'm not agreeing with it, we are allowed to speak up because we also benefit from this.

I simply want clearer explanations regarding the events happening around you, Mr. President, whether  you are still aware or you are just letting your fellow citizens suffer. Are you just letting us suffer? Yes, we are students, but we also have the right to say our opinions because this was also for the freedom of the Filipinos to know the truth.

Sincerely yours,

Rannie A. Aquino

Ensuring Food and Nutrition Security in the Philippines

This year's Nutrition Month shines a spotlight on the undeniable truth: food is at the heart of nutrition. Our theme, "Food at Nutrition Security maging Priority! Sapat na pagkain karapatan natin!" emphasizes the crucial role of food choices in achieving optimal health well-being. The Philippines, like many nations, faces the persistent challenge of ensuring food and nutrition security for all its citizens. While significant progress has been made, malnutrition and food insecurity continue to plague various communities, highlighting the urgent need to prioritize this fundamental human right.

In this celebration, we encountered different activities such as jingle, foodfest etc. that everyone's allow to attend and is allow to watch. Food security encompasses four key pillars: access, availability, utilization, and stability. Access refers to the ability to obtain sufficient, safe, and nutritious food. Availability focuses on the sufficient production and supply of food within a community. Nutrition security, goes beyond mere quantity, emphasizing the quality and diversity of food consumed to meet the body's nutritional needs.

In conclusion, achieving food and nutrition security in the Philippines is not merely a development goal; it is a fundamental human right. By acknowledging the interconnectedness of food security and nutrition security, addressing the multifaceted challenges, and complementing comprehensive solutions, we can work towards a future where every Filipino has access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food.

The Fragile Vessel

I'm just a simple girl who loves listening to music, who loves playing with kids, who loves sleeping. A girl who's friendly, funny, understanding, talkative, sensitive, softhearted and a crybaby. Besides of all this characteristics of me, I also consider myself as a glass filled with water, the water represents as the uncountable problems and the glass represents as me holding it all together. This defines me how vulnerable, easy to break and difficult to fix I am. Glass is known for its breakage because it is made in a brittle non-crystal solid materials, typically made by fusing silica and other materials.

Behind those characteristics and things that I love. Hello everyone
1 I'm Rannie A. Aquino, 15 years old, student of Ilocos Sur National High School, grade 10 in the section Markov. I always see myself in a way not others may see. But sometimes they see me the other way how I can see myself. being funny, joyful, friendly girl, who loves to comfort others when they are feeling down and feeling like giving up, while on the other hand she don't know how to comfort her own self. My close friends and love ones keep on telling me how understanding I am, not knowing I, on the other hand don't understand my own life. So they keep on reminding me not to be so hard on myself.

I therefore conclude that I'm just a simple sensitive girl who knows nothing but to understand others and be nice to them. A girl that keeps on reminding them that sometimes life gets hard but don't give up, a girl that cares for you when no ones does, a girl that loves everything except herself.
